Help With Make Baby Book Grandma

Betty asks…

Poem from baby to grandma?

I am making a picture book for her Mimi with my daughters photos in it and I wanted to have a poem inside. Maybe 2 lines per page, so I would need a poem with about 18 verses. Do you know of a poem that would fit well in this picture book? My daughter is only 4 months old, so it would need to be from a baby to grandma. Thanks!

Mary asks…

I’m making a scrap book for my grandma, I’m looking for poems or quotes?

My grandma is an amazing women. My mom was very young when she had me, but people like my grandma helped out and took on most of the responsibility of taking care of me.

For 13 years I was my grandmas only grandchild. None of my aunts or uncles had children – so my grandma and I spent a lot of time together. When I turned 13 my mom had another baby (my 1st brother) and so did my uncle. Since then my mother has had 2 more children, which leaves my grandma with a total of 5 grandkids.

Time with my grandma isnt as frequent as it used to be. I’m 20, working full time and attending college full time (in the same town) and she is busy working, helping with my siblings/cousin, and caring for her mother (My great grandma) and my 90 year old great great aunt.

To show my grandma how much she means to me/let her know how much she is appreshiated – I am making a scrap book for her of all the memories that my family and I share with her.

more details…
If anybody has any poems or quotes about grandmas/grandparents – I’d love for you to share them with me.

You could put in conversations or topics that you remember speaking to her about. :)

Mandy asks…

Care package for Great Grandma?

My son is a little over six months old now and one of his grandmothers hasn’t gotten to see him in about 3 months because she lives in another state.

I know what your thinking, but this is her ONLY Great Grandchild and she LOVES him to DEATH. Plus with him being only 6 months old now, missing 3 months is a lot of time.

I feel bad for her because we live near 4 of his other grandmothers, but she gets left out.

So I’m putting together a care package for her with as much stuff as I can muster to hold her off till I can get out to see her again.

So far Ive made her a mini baby book with pictures (lotsa pictures) and some cool info like who was also born on his birthday and his astrology signs and stuff…(she loves things like that)

I also have a 20 min home video on mini dvd it I’m putting in.

Any other idea’s what I could put in here to make grandma happy?I rely want to send her a BIG care package so she feels very loved!
Thank you very much for the suggestions!!
PS. She is only about 60 years old, and she is a rely hip grandma (she has a DVD player and knows how it works), so old people stuff might not go over rely well if its like a scarf or something…

Maybe like if you ever finger paint with your son you could put a picture that he made in the package and write to great grandma love (blank)
Maybe make a page of toys your son plays with or shows he enjoys watching. So if shes watching tv she can think aww hes watching this right now. Its a lil far fetched but you could like cut pictures out of the toys and shows and make a cool page with it.
Handprints and foot prints. You could put it in paint and put it on a page.

Thats all i can think right now good luck and i love the idea
