Help With Baby Scrapbooks Pages

What do I put in the baby scrapbook for my friend?
I started to make a scrapbook for one of my friends, who is due in mid-june. It’s pink gingham with little green letters with her baby‘s initials “A N W.” I’m really happy with how it looks
BUT
I would like to put some things on the inside, maybe a note to my friend telling her that I’m here for her, maybe poems or something?
Does anyone know where I can find things like that, or have any experience with that? If it were you recieving this scrapbook what do you think would be nice to have inside it? I don’t want to make a ton of ‘pages‘ for the scrapbook, because I don’t have any pictures or things yet.

Give each page a theme. For example:
1. Baby’s first day – for newborn pictures
2. Mommy & Daddy w/Child
3. Baby’s first Xmas
4. Silly Pictures
You can go to a craft store and purchase sets of letters to title the pages and stickers to decorate the pages according to it’s theme.
A nice poem from you would make it a very personal keepsake.

i cant seem to do anything w/ my baby…?
i’m a sahm and cant seem to keep my baby and i both entertained. yes i know some ppl are super moms, so to speak, and do all the chores, give themselves perfect manicures and do 1,000 page scrapbooks but not me… i’ve tried to contact a local moms group- they told me about a meeting the morning it was being held (while i was asleep) and never sent a schedule of events. i do want to start our scrapbooks but i can barely take a shower w/o having to tend to my little star. i cant do much on the computer- she’s a cat napper- and as handy as a baby bjorn or baby wrap is i still find myself pretty disabled… hep!!!
no friends/family, not much money to spend, gas is expensive and i ive in a big city and everything is so spread out…
she’s nearly 4 1/2 mos she has some toys, a swing, a bouncer, play mat etc but she’s young and they don’t keep her attention- i try to show her how to explore them if only for a short time…

Try going to www.Meetup.com You can search for local moms groups in your area. It took me awhile to find the right group but once you do it can really help you get some support.
